a band formed by the one and only Dr. Cotard, the Rare Radio Cadavers are a band with one goal in mind- well, actually, multiple. most of all, though, to do whatever they want and succeed in spite of the current state of the music industry. the band has been an ongoing project, started when they were mere teens, and still continuing throughout the years, garnering a cult following. many of their songs touch on topics such as mental health, death, etc. mostly just whatever they feel like doing. it's hard to fit their style of music into a specific genre, as they tend to experiment instead of sticking to a certain sound. however, that hasn't stopped fans from trying to define them - calling them medieval new-wave, avant garde, or just saying the cadavers are their own genre. Dr. Cotard, on the other hand, says that if the music has to be labelled, he'd think zolo would be a good fit. the band seems to have a distinctive sound to it, as many of the members come from different inspirations, with all those inspirations coming together to form the sound of the Cadavers.

DR. COTARD

he/it/zimbra - frontman - dead guyRottie T.J. Cotard, or Dr. Cotard, the funky frontman of the Rare Radio Cadavers! This dead man walking was born in the 50's, died in the 70's, and was revived- er- re-animated to his full capacity in the 2000's! This funky little fella has a MASSIVE special interest in Talking Heads, and is a proud advocate for the mentally disabled! Due to some unfortunate circumstances during his life, he's absolutely determined to become the role model he never had for those out there who feel outcasted due to their mental disability! MAX FREGOLI

he/xe/nir - guitarist - vampire batMax Fregoli, the cool vampire bat of a guitar player! Also part of a side project "The Rescues" along with Citriz. Max often brings a chill atmosphere to the Cadavers, and makes breakcore music and covers outside his time in the band. Being best friends with Cotard since they were kids, it's only natural that he's in the band.See more at his toyhouse.

ASHER LA MORTE

they/them - other instruments - psychopompThe one and only mysterious ghoul we all love, Asher la Morte! A master of various obscure instruments, they help bring the slightly folk-y vibe that the band has into the music, helping create the curious and distinct noise that the cadavers are known for. Asher usually plays the hurdy gurdy, spawning interest in the instrument within many people and fans!See more at their toyhouse.

SAMANTHA "CITRIZ" MARLEY

lem/dem/they/she - percussionist - lemon/demon hybridCitriz, the silly lemon/demon hybrid percussionist! Also a part of a side project along with Max Fregoli, "The Rescues", Citriz is packed with energy and often fun to be around! MARIPOSA

xe/they/she - bassist - white crowThe cool and quiet ghoul who often wears a skull of a crow, that's right, it's Mariposa! Xe often has a tranquil and peaceful nature, and spreads that vibe around to other people, intentionally or not! Any moment around xyr makes you feel safe and secure, and xe often has a protective nature of the people xe cares about.
